Depending on what set of statistics you want to start me at, I do not get paid for this and I currently view it as a personal time task. This does not mean there are no visions of some semblance of income eventually being derived from this direction, but the initial idea and drive came from personal experience I wasn't getting paid to experience. Not that I thought I ever believed I should be getting paid for the experience, rather it was the idea that I had to pay my government to read a book already owned by the public.
Now that the municipal code book I originally was attempting to access is present in an online format, I decided to revisit the Index principle from a perspective absent from personal need. Whether or not I ever "get paid" for doing this is not the primary purpose of the Index.
