Part V | Accountability Notation for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Reviewers

I wonder how many Cubs actually went on to play in a variety of World Series events…I know there’s been a few.  Sure some Cubs fans become upset when certain players are moved along to another team, but since the player is pursuing their happiness by honoring the existing contract, one can certainly applaud the achievement without calling management “stupid” for making the trade in the first place because of who took their place.

Cubs fans helped build the character of those players.  We made the noise.  We created the silence.  We yelled at television screens and radios.  We called into radio stations and more recently, flocked to online communities to voice opinions.

Silly, foolish fans filling up the stands, right?

I also know we’ve had quite a few outright all-stars grace the field day in and day out for their entire career.  The excitement that could course through the stadium with one crack of the bat or one leap into the ivy because a record-setting pace was firmly in place.

Silly, foolish fans filling up the stands for an otherwise manic-depressive experience filled with extreme ups and downs, right?

The fact that there will still be baseball players willing to commit to the objective of breaking the now 100+ years losing streak the team has saddled the State with…

Yeah.

I wouldn’t mind a World Series win for the Cubs…sooner rather than later, of course.

What an seriously sweet economic shot straight into the heart of the doubters.

“You see that upgrade over there?  That’s ‘cause the Cubs finally won the big one.  Yup.  Brought in the capital, the tax dollars, the love…ain’t it cool when a professional sports team is playing well?  The ticker tape parade wasn’t half bad either!”

So whether or not the Cubs win the World Series before the State of Illinois pulls together its entire municipal code book library might still seem to be entirely in the hands of the currently recognized players, I think the State will beat out the Cubs on this one…at least for 2012.  The State has the rest of the year ahead of it while the Cubs only have the rest of the baseball season.

But who knows what 2013 will hold…right?
